I ruined everything again. There’s no way He could ever want someone like me. So I hid in the dusty dark, hoping the heavy shadows would cover my deepest cracks. But His light has a beautiful way of finding exactly what we try to bury. He didn't yell or walk away. He just sat right down in the middle of my mess. I whispered to Him, 'Look at me. I'm too broken to ever be worth fixing.' He smiled softly and said, 'Broken things are my specialty, Bobby. Let me see.' The moment He gently touched my hand, the cold fear finally started to melt away. My cracks didn't disappear. Instead, they began to glow with a brilliant, warm golden light. Then He whispered, 'I don't see cracks, Bobby. I see room for my light.' No matter how shattered you feel, you are never too broken to be loved by Him.
