Another perfect kernel secured before the first frost hits. Why work so hard when the sun is still shining, little ant? You won't be singing when the snow buries your beloved meadow, Gio. Worry is a waste of a perfectly good afternoon, my friend! Wait, the wind just turned freezing... this wasn't in my plans. Let the storm howl outside, my pantry is full to the brim. So cold... I can't even feel my legs to jump anymore. Anya, please! It's Gio! I'm freezing out here in the dark! Who could possibly be out in this dreadful winter storm? Gio? You look absolutely terrible, you foolish jumping bean. You were right, Anya. I was a fool to ignore the seasons. I warned you every single day while you played that silly fiddle. I know. I'll just... find a quiet snowbank to rest in. Oh, don't be dramatic. Get inside before we both freeze solid. Your home is the most beautiful place I have ever seen. It's nothing fancy, but it keeps the harsh winter wind outside. I don't deserve this kindness after mocking your hard work all autumn. Eat the stew, Gio, before your apologies make it turn cold. This is the most incredible meal I have ever tasted in my life! A pinch of summer herbs makes all the difference during the dark months. Allow me to repay my debt with the only skill I possess. I suppose a little music wouldn't hurt, now that the work is done. A lively tune to keep the shadows away until the spring returns! You know, Gio, winter might not be so boring with you around. To good food, warm fires, and the unlikeliest of friends!
