Your smart home camera just sent an alert: 'Movement detected in bedroom.' You live completely alone, and it is three in the morning. Heart pounding, you open the live video feed. The camera is positioned high in the corner, looking down at your bed. On screen, you see yourself, shivering under the blankets. But then, you notice the live timestamp in the corner. It is exactly thirty seconds ahead of real time. On the screen, a dark shape slowly crawls out from beneath your bed. It stands up, towering over your sleeping body.
