Five little monkeys on a sunny, sandy isle, Waving their hands with a happy, cheerful smile. One little monkey, so brave and so bold, Climbed a tall palm tree, a story to be told. Nearby sat a parrot, with feathers so bright, Who gave a loud squawk, with all of his might! The little monkey slipped, oh what a fright, And tumbled right down with a splash in the light.
