Everyone knows about the Holocaust. But some of the Nazis' darkest crimes are rarely talked about. Beyond the well-known atrocities, secret policies quietly destroyed millions of lives. Take the Lebensborn program. Thousands of children were kidnapped from occupied countries. Torn from their parents, they were given new identities... ...and raised as perfect German citizens. Then came the Hunger Plan. A calculated strategy to starve Eastern Europe. Vital food supplies were diverted to the military... ...deliberately condemning millions of civilians to famine. Even earlier was Operation T4, a secretive medical campaign targeting the disabled. Doctors turned hospitals into killing centers, systematically murdering adults and children deemed unfit. And across the continent, a massive cultural looting took place. Priceless paintings and historical treasures were stolen to erase entire heritages. Some of history's worst crimes are the ones most people never hear about. Remembering them helps ensure they are never repeated.
