The most terrifying part of the Panama jungle disappearance isn't that two girls vanished. It's the ninety photos taken in total darkness. In April 2014, Kris and Lisanne went missing on a simple day hike. Weeks later, their backpack was found perfectly dry. Inside was a digital camera. When police checked the memory card, they found something that chilled them to the bone. Deep in the jungle, between one and four AM, ninety flash photos were taken. Most captured nothing but pitch-black void. But others revealed haunting details. A plastic bag tied to a twig. A strange, moss-covered rock wall. And one terrifying frame showing the back of Kris's head, with blood on her temple. There were no tracks, no signs of a struggle, and absolutely no explanation. Were they desperately trying to light their path, signaling for help, or capturing the thing hunting them?
