Hello, little dreamer. The sun is soft and low, and Wisp is out for a gentle wander before bedtime. Then Wisp stops. Tucked in the grass is a tiny light, blinking softly. It's a star — a small one — and it looks lost. "Oh," Wisp says softly. "You must have fallen a long way down." Wisp scoops the little star up in two soft paws, gentle as can be. "Let's get you home," Wisp whispers, "before the sky wonders where you've gone." So off they go, past the sleepy hills, past the tall grass waving goodnight, all the way to the big tree that stretches up toward the sky. Wisp climbs to the lowest branch and lifts the star as high as two paws can reach. Just then, a warm breeze curls through the leaves and carries the star the rest of the way — up, up, past the treetop, until it settles back among its star friends, glowing steady and calm. Wisp watches from below with a sleepy smile. "There you go. Right where you belong." The sky is full of stars now, one of them a little bit special. And as it twinkles down, Wisp's eyes grow heavy, and heavier still. Goodnight, little star. Goodnight, Wisp. And goodnight, little dreamer.
