Hello, little dreamer. Tonight the sky is soft and grey, and Wisp has a cozy little plan. "A blanket," Wisp decides, looking up. "A blanket made of clouds." So Wisp climbs the hill behind the big tree, reaching up on tiptoes to catch the low, drifting clouds as they float by. One soft wisp at a time, Wisp gathers them close — fluffy, and light, and warm as a hug. "Just a little more," Wisp hums, tucking another cloud into the bundle. Soon the little armful is big and round and glowing faintly silver in the moonlight. Wisp carries the cloud blanket back down the hill, past the quiet meadow, all the way to the soft patch of grass beneath the big tree. Wisp lays the blanket down and curls up underneath it. It's soft as a whisper, warm as sunshine, and smells like rain and starlight. Above, the real sky is clear now, sprinkled with stars watching over the meadow. "Perfect," Wisp murmurs, snuggling deeper. "Just right for sleeping." The wind hushes low. The stars blink slow. And under a blanket made of clouds, Wisp drifts off to sleep.
