Full transcript of The Lion and the Mango Tree
A starving lion collapsed beneath a tree of golden fruit, dying of his own greed. Leo guarded five hundred mangoes during a harsh drought, refusing to share a single bite. But he couldn't climb, and the best fruit hung far out of reach. Starving, he finally tossed three fallen mangoes to the monkeys above. The monkeys swung high, shaking down a massive feast for the entire jungle. Grateful, the animals built the lion a shaded shelter from branches and giant seeds. He began by guarding a tree, and ended sleeping in a palace built by those he tried to starve. True power isn't guarded; it is built together.
