Ethan was a quiet boy who loved drawing. Every day, he carried a backpack filled with sketchbooks and pencils. His favorite thing to do was sit under a tree during lunch and draw superheroes, dragons, and faraway worlds. But a group of boys at school often teased him. "Why do you always draw?" one of them would laugh. "Maybe because he has no friends," another would say. Their words hurt, but Ethan never answered. He would simply look down and walk away. One afternoon, after the boys knocked his sketchbook onto the ground, Ethan felt like giving up drawing altogether. As he picked up the pages, his teacher, Mrs. Carter, noticed what had happened. Instead of staying silent, Ethan told her everything. Mrs. Carter listened carefully and took the bullying seriously. She spoke with the students involved and made sure they understood that their behavior was unacceptable. She also encouraged Ethan to share his artwork with the class. The next week, Ethan displayed his drawings on a bulletin board. To his surprise, many classmates stopped to admire them. "Wow, you drew all of these?" one student asked. "They're amazing!" For the first time, Ethan felt proud instead of embarrassed. The bullying gradually stopped, and Ethan made new friends who shared his love of art. He learned that asking for help was a sign of courage, not weakness, and that the things that make us different can become our greatest strengths. And from then on, Ethan carried his backpack a little higher and walked through the school doors with confidence.
