Kling AI, what it is and whether it's free

Kling AI is a video generator made by Kuaishou, the company behind the Kuaishou short-video app in China. Its latest family, Kling 3.0, came out in February 2026 and makes clips of up to 15 seconds with sound. You use it on klingai.com or its mobile app, with a small free allowance and paid plans. FacelessGenie doesn't include Kling, so this page explains the model and then shows how to make the same kind of video with Seedance or Genie Motion.

  • Made by Kuaishou, used on klingai.com and its apps
  • Free tier with daily credits and watermarks, paid plans from about $10 a month

What Kling 3.0 is

Kling 3.0 is a set of models released in February 2026, including Video 3.0 and Video 3.0 Omni. They make clips of up to 15 seconds from text or an image, with native audio. Omni can give each character in a scene its own voice. Earlier versions like Kling 2.5 Turbo are still around and are known for steady camera moves and strong prompt adherence.

Is Kling AI free?

Partly. As of November 2026, Kling gives free accounts a small number of daily credits, and free clips are watermarked and limited in quality. Third-party guides disagree on the exact daily amount because Kling has changed it during 2026, so check klingai.com before you plan around it. Paid plans start at about $10 a month for a monthly credit pack, and longer or higher-resolution clips use more credits.

Strengths and weak spots for faceless shorts

Kling is good at believable physics, smooth camera moves and multi-character scenes. For a faceless channel, the catch is that it gives you clips, not videos. You still write the script, record or generate a voice, cut the clips together, add captions and music, and redo scenes in an editor. Free credits also run out fast if you post every day.

Does FacelessGenie offer Kling?

No. Kling isn't one of the video models you can pick when you make a video in FacelessGenie. What FacelessGenie does offer for the same jobs is Seedance 2.5 for the strongest human acting, Seedance 2.0 for cheaper talking scenes, Genie Motion for talking scenes at a lower price and Wan 3.0 for energetic action, all inside a finished video.

How to make a Kling-style video in FacelessGenie

    Type the idea

Start a Prompt to Video and type a topic or paste a script. The script step writes a shot prompt for every scene.

Scenes come back with voices and sound, then get captions and music. Re-roll a single scene in Studio if one misses.
