This page offers four Mandarin Chinese voices: Xiaobei and Xiaoni, two female voices, and Yunjian and Yunxi, two male voices. They speak standard Putonghua. Cantonese, Taiwanese Hokkien and other Chinese languages are not available.
Watch characters with more than one reading, such as 行, 重, 长 and 还. If the voice picks the wrong one, swap in a word where only one reading fits. Use full-width punctuation like ，and 。 to create pauses, and write years, phone numbers and prices the way you want them read, because digits can be read as a whole number or one by one.
