Seedance 2.5 gives the most convincing human motion and handles scenes up to 30 seconds in the Movie Maker. It costs 960 credits for a 5-second 720p clip. Seedance 2.0 Fast costs 640 credits for the same clip and still talks with matching mouths. Seedance 2.0 Mini is the cheapest Seedance that speaks, at 374 credits, and it suits drafts and simple talking scenes.
Describe one shot at a time: who is in frame, what they do, how the camera moves and what is heard. "A tired chef wipes the counter, looks up and says 'we're closed', slow push-in, kitchen hum" works better than "a chef in a kitchen". Put spoken lines in quotes, name the sound you want, and keep each shot to one action. In FacelessGenie the script step writes these shot prompts for you from your topic.
Seedance 1.5 Pro was the earlier generation. FacelessGenie now offers Seedance 2.0 and 2.5, which improved motion, audio and how well a character stays the same from shot to shot. If a guide you are following was written for 1.5 Pro, the same prompt structure works on 2.0 and 2.5 with better results.
Seedance 2.0 Fast and Mini give talking scenes real lip-sync without paying for the top model. A 60-second video cut into twelve 5-second scenes costs far less on 2.0 Mini than on 2.5, and in a narrator-led explainer most scenes are B-roll where the extra motion quality of 2.5 shows less. Save Seedance 2.5 for videos where people act, move and react, and if one scene comes out wrong, re-roll just that scene in Studio instead of the whole video.
The Movie Maker runs only on Seedance. You cast up to 10 characters, write a premise, and each scene is generated with dialogue, ambience and music at lengths from 20 seconds to 20 minutes. Seedance 2.5 is the default because it holds acting and motion together over longer scenes, and 2.5 Turbo, 2.0 Fast and 2.0 Mini are there when you want to spend fewer credits.
